I wanted to go to Berlin because history was and continues to be written there like in no other place in Germany. I wanted to study law so that I could work effectively for justice. As a student, I had many different jobs (dishwasher, waitress, hostess, babysitter, newspaper deliverer, clearing out). I experienced that things were not always fair there. You often gain experience in voluntary work that you can put to good professional use. But vice versa, as a labor court judge, I have also experienced that you can&#8217;t get any further with the current law. I was able to use this experience in politics, for example, to propose improvements. Here too, the area of labor market and economic policy was particularly important to me.
